About Camden Enhanced Access Service

Patients who are registered with a Camden GP now have access to evening and weekend NHS GP appointments through our Enhanced Access Service.

The enhanced access service delivers additional primary care appointments outside of GP core hours. In Camden and elsewhere it supersedes, and builds upon, extended access arrangements which have been in place for several years, for example through our Camden GP Hubs. Primary Care Networks are now delivering enhanced access on weekday evenings 6.30pm-8pm and Saturdays from 9am-5pm.

NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) has worked with us, AT Medics, to continue to be a Camden partner for enhanced access through our sites at Somers Town Medical Centre and Brondesbury Medical Centre, Weekdays from 6.30pm to 8.00pm and on Weekends from 8.00am to 8.00pm.

Our sites are staffed by experienced GPs and Nurses and offer assessment and treatment for adults and children with minor injuries and illnesses.

This service is commissioned by NHS NCL ICB, and has been implemented following consultation and feedback from a wide variety of patients across Camden, local GPs, other local health services, Healthwatch Camden and Camden Council.
